The method involves storing a data object redundantly in peer-devices (P,M,S1,S2,C). A replication group (RG) is assigned to the peer-devices. The data object is typed in one of the two data types. A consistency check takes place depending on the respective data type during a data operation for the stored data object in a replication group or the data object is directly subjected to the data operation. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a network arrangement with a communication network; and (2) a computer program product for executing the data object providing method.
