PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box with an opening lock which can be locked simply and certainly by a light force and is excellent in pressure resistance. SOLUTION: In the packaging box with the opening lock in which a lock piece 8 is provided between two cutting lines 7 over a ridge crease line 6 of side plates 1, 2 and lid plates 4, 5, a projected part 9a and a notch part 9b are provided at both side edges of a side piece 9 which is a side plate part of the lock piece 8 and both side edges of a lid piece 10, which is a lid plate part of the lock piece 8, are parallel and a base part crease line 11 parallel with the ridge crease line 6 is provided only at the base edge of the lid piece 10 of the base edges of the side piece 9 and the lid piece 10 and the lid plates 4, 5 are opened and folded backed outside the side plates 1, 2 and when the lock piece 8 that the side piece 9 and the lid piece 10 are piled up, is brought down outward using the base part crease line 11 as a hinge, the overhang part 9a of the side piece 9 is engaged into the side edge of a removal hole of the lid piece 10 so that the lid plates 4, 5 may bite into the notch part 9b.
