发明名称 LIQUID JET RECORDING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To irradiate a laser beam accurately on the thermal actuating part of each nozzle by a method wherein the scanning for detecting the position of a flow channel and that for the discharge of liquid drips are performed by the same beam scanning and the timing of the discharge of liquid drips is controlled based on a signal informing the detected position of the flow channel. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 228 irradiated on a flow-channel-line member wherein a fixed number of liquid flow channels 224 are provided by a desired pitch passes through a groove plate 221 in the part not being the liquid flow channel 224, is irradiated on a diffusion plate 229 and detected by a flow-channel-position detector 230. In the part of the flow channel 224, the laser beam 228 is intercepted and scarcely irradiated on the diffusion plate 229. That is, the flow channel is irradiated with the photoquantity insufficient for making liquid drips be discharged, while the strong irradiation of the laser beam is applied only to the flow channel that is to discharge liquid drips in accordance with the edge trigger of the signal to be detected.
