PURPOSE:The captioned casting whose outside shell is formed integrally with the inside shell by plural dissimilar materials of partially varying chemical compositions in the axial direction and which is used alone for multiple purposes, in the cylindrical or columnar composite casting whose inside and outside shells are of different materials. CONSTITUTION:For example, for the inside shell 1 (shaft core material) for steel bar rolling, the portions 2, 3 in the axial direction of its outside shell are formed at least integrally with the inside shell 1 by dissimilar materials of respectively different chemical components. As a result of this, the outside shell portions 2, 3 are formed to those provided with characteristics such as hardness that meet the hole dies, etc. provided thereto according to the hole dies, etc. |
