<p>Disclosed is a wireless communication device such that even resources that cannot be received by all of the relay stations participating in a cooperative relay network can be used for cooperative relay. Based on scheduling information, the device uses a receivable frequency resource determination section (104) to identify the receivable resources capable of receivable signals from among the resources used for cooperative relaying, and using a transmission selection section (110), the device selects a relay method for said wireless communication based on the results determined by said determination section.</p>
