<p>PURPOSE:To use two kinds of data entry sheets whose read start directions are different from each other, by erasing a data obtained by a data mark detected before detecting an end mark, and also reading a data obtaind by a data mark detected after detecting the end mark. CONSTITUTION:A width of a timing mark TM regarding an OMR sheet running direction is about 0.9mm., and a width of an end mark EM is about 2.5mm., therefore, when the end mark EM is detected, an end mark detecting signal (c) is generated by an output of the eighth digit of a shift register 5, and a reset signal (h) is generated from an NAND circuit 11. A timing mark signal B detected thereafter is regarded as a contamination on an OMR sheet and it is not inputted to the shift register 5. In case of the OMR sheet whose read direction is different is used, a data which has been read before detecting the end mark EM is disregarded, and a data after detecting the end mark EM is read as a normal data.</p> |
