PURPOSE: A virtual golf simulation apparatus and a control method are provided, which can obtain various grounds under the virtual golf simulation environment. CONSTITUTION: A virtual golf simulation apparatus comprises a swing plate(100) in which a divided teeing-off zone is equipped; a sensing device measuring the moving characteristic of a golf ball by sensing movement of a golf club and the hit golf ball; an image processing apparatus indicating the golf simulation video information on a screen; a spot light apparatus(200) selectively providing illumination to guide a section that a golfer tees off; and a controller which controls in order to provide illumination.
