POROUS CERAMIC BALL INCLUDING HIERARCHICALLY POROUS STRUCTURE AND THE PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A porous ceramic ball, and a manufacturing method of the porous ceramic ball are provided to form the interconnected opened pores of several nanometers to several scores of micrometers, thereby increasing specific surface area and porosity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a porous ceramic ball comprises the steps of preparing a polymer template solution; preparing a precursor solution; mixing and reacting the polymer template solution and the precursor solution and increasing the viscosity; dipping the mixed solution into a hydrophobic solvent to form a reverse micelle, and forming a ball by sol-gel method; and aging and drying the ball, and heat treating it to remove the polymer template.
