<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device that is operated by a high driving voltage and a low driving current. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a first light emitting diode array having a plurality of light emitting diode elements, a second light emitting diode array having a plurality of light emitting diode elements, a first electrode to which one end of the first light emitting diode array and the other end of the second light emitting diode array are connected, and a second electrode to which the other end of the first light emitting diode array and one end of the second light emitting diode array are connected.
