<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire noise reduction device quickly and certainly performing repair of blowout when a pneumatic tire with a sound absorbing material attached on an inner surface of a tread part is subjected to blowout through nail treading. <P>SOLUTION: The tire noise reduction device 1 is constituted such that at least one sound absorbing material 2 comprising a porous material is attached to an inner surface of a tire tread part 4. The device 1 has a plane-like groove bottom on an outer peripheral surface 2Z of the sound absorbing material 2, and in the device 1, a large number of continuous grooves 2b extending from one side surface in a tire width direction of the sound absorbing material 2 to the other side surface in a see-through fashion are arranged in a tire circumferential direction. An inter-groove edge distance h in a tire circumferential direction where the continuous grooves 2b are adjacent to one another is made 2-40 mm, and the maximum see-through cross section area per one continuous groove is made 20-100 m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
