The arrangement has a gas tension spring (58) for prestressing a component i.e. cabin, from a closed position to an opened position, where the component lies at a stop with dead weight force in the opened position. The gas tension spring is hinged between a frame (12) of a vehicle and the component such that the gas tension spring exerts force acting in the closed position on the component when the component is in the opened position and gas-pressurized springs (42, 44) are in freewheeling condition.
