PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead transmission line capable of being inexpensively manufactured to maintain stable low sag property for a long period. SOLUTION: The overhead transmission line comprises an aluminum layer arranged on the outer periphery of a copper core with a gap therebetween, the gap being filled with silicone grease, or an aluminum layer arranged on the outer periphery of a copper core with a gap therebetween, the gap being filled with grease in which lubricant is mixed.
