<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform recording device for acquiring time-synchronized multichannel sampling waveform data having little time difference between channels inexpensively with a simple constitution, without exerting a bad influence on A/D conversion operation, even when sampling a multichannel input waveform at high speed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Sampling waveform data A/D-converted by an A/D converter 21 are stored in a memory 22 before an accident, and output in the delayed state as long as a fixed time, and a starting pulse from a starting pulse generation part 13 is stored in the memory 22 before the accident. When detecting a waveform abnormality by waveform abnormality detection parts (11, 12), a prescribed sampling number of sampling waveform data and timing signals from the memory 22 before the accident are stored into an accident waveform data memory 23. Time data from a time data latching part 15 are stored into the accident waveform data memory 23, relative to each of the prescribed sampling number of sampling waveform data.
