摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary dye from sublimating from an ink ribbon by preventing the temperature of a thermal head from being excessively elevated without using a control circuit with a complicated constitution, and to decrease generation of tailing phenomenon. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sublimation type printer is used which has the thermal head in which a plurality of heating elements are arranged in a line and sublimates a dye coating an ink sheet by the heat generated when the thermal head is electrically energized to stick it on a recording medium. The thermal head is driven by an electricity energizing pattern which is an electricity energizing pattern for a pixel in the direction intersecting at right angles to the arranging direction of the heating elements, electricity energizing to the adjoining heating elements is alternately performed by a predetermined number of times, and the electricity energizing of a predetermined ratio is thinned out.
