PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to make the liquid crystal display device light and thin. CONSTITUTION: A driving circuit(115) is mounted in one edge of the first substrate. A printed circuit board(117) is connected to the driving circuit by a connection member. The printed circuit board is bent toward the side of a support main or the rear side of a cover bottom during a modularization process. An adhesive tape(200) covers the front side edge of a liquid crystal panel. A conductive metal layer contacting the liquid crystal panel and the driving circuit is formed on the adhesive tape. The conductive metal layer is electrically connected to the cover bottom or the printed circuit board.
