<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision determination device can immediately stop initial setting control in diagnosing that abormality occurs in a register part by register initial diagnosing processing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The register initial diagnosing processing is performed to diagnose whether the abnormality occurs in the register part 6a in this register initial setting processing control or not after carrying out the register initial setting processing of the register part 6a as the initial setting processing control before starting collision determining motion by an ASIC 6 for side collision determination, and a clock signal for driving a magetic sensor is oscillated after the register initial diagnosing processing in diagnosing that no abormality occurs in the register part 6a by the register initial diagnosing processing.
