摘要 <p>The present invention relates to an air conditioning system for a ship and a control method thereof. The air conditioning system comprises an air conditioning device which is applied to an upper structure installed on the upper part of a deck of the ship, and cools or heats air supplied through an air inlet formed on the upper structure to condition air; an air controlling and blowing unit changing the rotational speed of a fan according to each cabin and a common use space formed on the upper structure to control the total flow rate of air supplied from the air conditioning device; and an air supply path supplying air, which is supplied from the air controlling and blowing unit, to the cabin and the common use space. The control method of the air conditioning system is provided to control the operation of the air conditioning system of a ship based on the load variation of the cabin and the common use space, and reduce energy consumption required for air-conditioning by controlling the flow rate of air supplied to the common use space which is used for less hours than the cabin.</p>
