SPHERICAL BEARING SHOE WITH AXIAL AND SHEAR LOAD MEASURING CAPABILITY

PURPOSE: A spherical bearing shoe capable of axial and shear load measuring capability is provided to mount a load sensor on a supporting part which connects the upper and lower structures of a bridge and to measure the load of the upper structure. CONSTITUTION: A spherical bearing shoe capable of axial and shear load measuring capability comprises a lower plate(2), a weight sensor part(4), a center plate(7), a bearing(3) and an upper plate(1). The lower plate is combined and fixed in a bridge post, which supports the upper plate of the bridge, with an anchor bolt(5). The weight sensor part is installed on the top of the lower plate. The lower surface of the center plate is installed on the upper side of the weight sensor part. A groove(6) is formed on the top of the center plate. The bearing is installed on the groove. The upper plate is combined with the upper side of the bearing.
