<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deploy an air bag in an early stage by suitably flowing a gas from a gas passage into the air bag and efficiently and smoothly feeding the gas to respective parts in the air bag. <P>SOLUTION: The gas passage 51 is formed on an inner tube 50 in the air bag 10 and the gas fed from an inflator 40 is guided by respective air chambers 31, 32 in the air bag 10 by the gas passage 51. Midway through the gas passage 51, a gas flow-out part 70 having a branch part 71 for branching the flow of the gas and a gas flow-out port 72 for flowing one branched gas into the air bag 10 are provided. The gas flow-out port 72 is formed so as to be crossed to a gas flowing direction and be opened toward a downstream side, and the gas branched by the branch part 71 is flowed from the gas flowing port 72 along the gas flowing direction, fed to the rear air chamber 32 and fed from the opening part 53 to the front air chamber 31 to deploy the air bag 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
