<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle that properly performs power management of power supply from the outside during travelling and a method for controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle 100 including a battery B.1, a receiving unit 28 that receives electric power from a transmission unit 42 outside the vehicle, and a motor generator MG2 that is driven with the electric power supplied from the battery B.1 and that supplied from the receiving unit 28, wherein a controller 30 calculates a first electric power that is output from the battery B.1 and calculates a second electric power that is charged from the outside based on a transmittable electric power of the transmission unit 42 and a chargeable electric power of the receiving unit 28, and then finds the total of the first and the second electric powers as a power supply output electric power, thereby performing driving control on the motor generator MG 2 based on the power supply output electric power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
