TABLET QUICKLY DISINTEGRATING IN THE ORAL CAVITY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A tablet quickly disintegrating in the oral cavity which contains a large amount of the active ingredient and a method for producing the same.  A tablet quickly disintegrating in the oral cavity which is obtained by granulating a powder containing the active ingredient with the use of a binder solution containing mannitol and gelatinized starch originating in corn, mixing the obtained granules with at least one kind of a disintegrating agent selected from among corn starch, hydroxypropyl starch, carmellose and crospovidone and compression molding the resultant mixture, characterized by containing the active ingredient in an amount of 25% or more based on the total weight thereof, showing a disintegration time of 40 seconds or shorter and having an absolute hardness of 1.8 N/mm2 or more.
