CARBON FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Disclosed is a porous carbon film wherein water, an alcohol, an ether or a ketone is loaded, as a loaded component, on the surface, in pores or both on the surface and in pores. In the carbon film, the loaded component preferably has a molecular weight of not more than 100. In the carbon film, the loaded component is preferably a linear alcohol or a linear ether. In the carbon film, the loaded component is preferably composed of at least one member selected from methanol, ethanol, n-propanol and n-butanol. The carbon film has high separation performance which is suppressed in deterioration over time.
