INSULATION SYSTEM OF INSULATION TANK FOR GAS CARRIER

PURPOSE: An insulation system of a gas carrier insulation tank is provided to apply an insulation module using a vacuum insulation board, thereby drastically improving the thickness of an insulation layer. CONSTITUTION: An insulation system(1) of a gas carrier insulation tank comprises a plurality of insulation modules(10), a plurality of studs(11), a plurality of vertical inserts(12), a plurality of horizontal inserts(13), and a plurality of triplexes(15). Fixing projections(100b) are formed in both sides of the insulation module and the bottom part of front and rear sides of the insulation module. The studs are located between the fixing projections. The studs are separated from the external wall of the insulation tank at regular interval and are attached to the external wall. Each of the vertical inserts comprises a plurality of insertion holes(120) to which the studs are inserted. Support projections(121) are formed in the upper end portion of both sides of each vertical insert. The support projections support the fixing protections formed in both sides of the insulation module. The horizontal inserts are inserted between neighboring insulation modules. The both-sided end portions of each horizontal insert are fixed to the support projections of neighboring vertical inserts.
