PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display device is provided to display the image with the wanted brightness by controlling a voltage of a gate electrode of a driving transistor to compensate for the deterioration of an organic light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION: A data driver supplies an initialization voltage to data lines for a first period of a horizontal period. The data driver supplies a data signal to the data lines for a second period of a horizontal period. Pixels(140) are positioned in a region where the scan lines and the data lines cross. A pixel circuit(142) controls an amount of the currents flowing from the first power to the second power while passing through the organic light emitting diode and includes a driving transistor receiving the initialization voltage through a gate electrode for the first period. A compensator(144) controls the voltage of the gate electrode of the driving transistor corresponding to the deterioration of the organic light emitting diode.
