PURPOSE: A movable robot binding apparatus for coil packing is provided to reduce the scale of an apparatus used for a binding process for coil packing, thereby reducing initial facility investment cost. CONSTITUTION: A grip unit(400) grips a band(B) which is used for packing a coil(50). A grip robot(401) supports the grip unit. The grip robot rotates the grip unit gripping the band in the peripheral part of the coil. Then, the band is wound in the coil. The grip robot transfers the band to an engaged position. A head unit(300) provides the band to the grip unit. In the engaged position of the band, the head unit binds the band. The head robot supports the head unit and transfers the head unit to the engaged position of the band. A robot transfer unit(302,402) supports at least one of the heat robot or the grip robot and transfers the location of a supported robot.
