PURPOSE: A signal process device for a liquid display panel and a liquid crystal display device including the same are provided to improve a response speed by applying a compensation voltage to a current frame. CONSTITUTION: A motion interpolation unit(120) produces a motion vector and generates a middle image data based on the motion vector. A lookup table substitutes a first reference gray value which a liquid crystal display panel displays by the middle image data for the target gray value of the middle image data. The lookup table outputs the substituted first reference gray value as the first substitution image data. A memory(110) receives and stores the first substitution image data and the current image data. The memory successively outputs the current image data and the first substitution image data for the current frame. A data compensation unit(140) generates the first compensation image data and the second compensation image data and compensates for the response characteristic of the liquid crystal panel based on the first and second compensation image data.
