PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to charge full capacity in a short time compared with conventional batteries and to improve a charging speed. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly and a case accepting the electrode assembly. In an application of CC / CV electric charging method, a charge rate at a position reaching CV section is 50% or greater of the charging capacity when the charging current is 2C or greater. The electrode assembly comprises a positive electrode including a positive electrode current collector and a ternary positive active material, and a negative electrode including a negative electrode current collector and a negative active material.
