PURPOSE: A microfluidic chip for the alignment and separation of microparticles is provided to drive microparticles by electrodynamics principle by forming an ununiform electric field inside a microfluidic channel, thereby reducing remarkably the time required for the manufacturing a device. CONSTITUTION: A microfluidic chip(100) for the alignment and separation of microparticles comprises a power device(110); a first electrode(120) which is electrically connected with the one end of the power device so as to allow the drive voltage to be applied from the power device; a first substrate(140) which is attached to the first electrode; a second electrode(130) which faces with the first electrode and is electrically connected with the other end of the power device so as to allow the reference voltage to be applied from the power device; a second substrate(150) which faces the first substrate, and is attached to the second electrode; a microfluidic channel(160) which is formed the first electrode and the second electrode and where a sample is located; and a spacer(180) which is located between the first electrode and the second electrode to separate the first electrode and the second electrode. The second electrode and the second substrate are inclined.
