The device (1) has a bar (11) connected to a coupling sleeve at an end of the bar. A clamp (12) is curved in a direction of an axis of the sleeve and located at another end of the bar. The clamp includes a terminal part engaged between two turns of a thread of a headless screw (2). The terminal part forms a sharp edge that is placed in a plane same as that of a distal end face of a distal portion (5a) of a rod (5) of a screwdriver or recessed to the distal end face. The clamp forms a distal support face supported against a surface of a bone receiving the screw.
