The control device is formed for controlling or regulating an actuating variable depending on a measured variable. A data bus (6) is prepared by the control device, where the data bus is connected with a sensor (5) for detecting the measured variable. A request signal with a signal form is generated on the data bus by an attachment. The deviations of the generated signal form are corrected by a regulating device which comprises a pilot control device (4). The pilot control of the current intensity of the request signal is carried out by pilot control device. An independent claim is included for a method for controlling or regulating an actuating variable depending on a measured variable.
