<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate disadvantages of both a full automatic camera and a manual camera. <P>SOLUTION: Once a photographic scene is decided, automatic parameters corresponding to the decided photographic scene are set, and respective portions are controlled according to the set automatic parameters (step S3). Further, a tag for manual setting corresponding to the photographic scene decided in the step S2 is superimposed and displayed on a through image (step S5). It is determined which of touches on tags is detected or not (step S9). Once a touch is detected, a manual parameter corresponding to the touched tag among the automatic parameters stored in a RAM in the step S3 is changed by one stage to be updated (step S13).
