<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controlled breaker allowing the off state of a main contact to be discriminated without looking at it directly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The remote controlled breaker includes the main contact turned off at the occurrence of an abnormal current and turned on/off by manual operation, and a relay contact series-connected to the main contact in a feeder line from a power source to a load and turned on/off by a control signal from the outside. The remote controlled breaker further includes: a main contact state-detecting switch 71 whose contact state is switched interlocked with the on/off of the main contact; a relay contact state detecting switch 72 whose contact state is switched interlocked with the on/off of the relay contact; and an abnormality signal-generating circuit for outputting a predetermined abnormality signal when the main contact is turned off and the relay contact is turned on, that is, when terminals 73a, 73b are connected, based on the contact state of the main contact state detecting switch 71 and the contact state of the relay contact state detecting switch 72.
