<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in an ultrasonic ethanol atomizing/fractionating apparatus wherein large energy is required for atomizing liquid with a lot of piezoelectric vibrators 2 in a casing 1, and atomized particles must be turned to liquid ethanol, causing very poor efficiency for liquefying. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A discharge port 7a is provided at the end of a side wall 6a of a vessel 6, a funnel-like nozzle 7 communicating an opening 7c widened at the rear part 7b with the inside of the vessel 6 is attached, a piezoelectric vibrator 8 is mounted on a side wall 6b facing the side wall 6a of the vessel 6, an oscillator 9 is connected to the piezoelectric vibrator 8, liquid 11 containing ethanol is fed to the vessel 6 from a liquid feed device 10. A cut member 12 having a cut hole 12a with a diameter slightly smaller than that of a liquid column 11a discharged from the funnel-like nozzle 7 to a facing part of the discharge port 7a of the funnel-like nozzle 7, is mounted at a position where the liquid column 11a immediately before the atomization occurs from the liquid column 11a discharged from the funnel-like nozzle 7 passes, and a recovery vessel 13 is mounted under the cut part 12.
