<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool that is easy to use for all operators by displaying a more legible screen for persons who receives visions in various colors, the machine tool which is capable of changing a color scheme of information displayed on its color monitor. <P>SOLUTION: A color table 13 is registered in an auxiliary memory device 5 of an NC unit of the machine tool, the table having a plurality of color patterns (color combinations) for color-weak persons, and each operator can arbitrarily select one of the plurality of color patterns displayed on a color table changing screen, so that general color-vision persons and color-weak persons can correctly recognize the information displayed on the monitor.
