摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus and a driving method thereof which reduce the number of power-supply lines. <P>SOLUTION: One of source and drain areas of a write transistor TR<SB>W</SB>is connected to a data line DTL<SB>n</SB>, and a gate electrode of the write transistor TR<SB>W</SB>is connected to a scan line SCL<SB>m</SB>. One of source and drain areas of a driving transistor TR<SB>D</SB>is connected to the other of the source and drain areas of the write transistor TR<SB>W</SB>to constitute a first node ND<SB>1</SB>. A prescribed reference voltage is applied to one end of a capacitor C<SB>1</SB>, and the other end and a gate electrode of the driving transistor TR<SB>D</SB>are connected to constitute a second node ND<SB>2</SB>. A second switch circuit SW<SB>2</SB>connected between the second node ND<SB>2</SB>and the data line DTL<SB>n</SB>is provided. The second switch circuit SW<SB>2</SB>is turned off after a prescribed initialization voltage V<SB>Ini</SB>is applied from the data line DTL<SB>n</SB>to the second node ND<SB>2</SB>through the second switch circuit SW<SB>2</SB>being turned on, whereby a potential of the second node ND<SB>2</SB>is set to the prescribed reference potential. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
