<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shut-off valve system facilitating setting work in a motor valve unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This gas shut-off system includes a motor valve unit 1 and an operation unit 2 connected to the motor valve unit 1 freely to communicate with each other. The operation unit 12 includes a setting information input means 28, to which special information of the motor valve unit 1 is to be input, and a transmitting means 21a for transmitting the setting information input to the setting information input means 28 to the motor valve unit 1. The motor valve unit 1 includes a receiver means 11a for receiving the setting information transmitted by the transmitting means 21a, a setting information memory 15 for storing the setting information received by the receiver means 11a, and a drive control means 11b for controlling drive of a motor 5 based on the setting information stored in the setting information memory 15.
