<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate fiber having excellent water-repellency and sufficient strength, hardly causing reduction of initial water repellency by long-term use, repeated washing, or the like, and also having excellent feeling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water-repellent polyester conjugate fiber is the sheath-core conjugate fiber wherein the polymer constituting the sheath part contains 2-40 wt.% ester-reactive silicone based on the polymer weight.
