PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to acquire recommended information from a person who is different from a content provider.

SOLUTION: A portable telephone 10 is an information terminal, which receives and displays Web content transmitted from a Web server 30, and is provided with: a detection part 12 for detecting the acquiring circumstances of the Web content; a circumstance transmission part 13 for transmitting the detected acquiring circumstances to an information providing server 20 as circumstance information; and a display part 15 for receiving recommendation information to guide a user to the other content generated by the information providing server 20 based on the transmitted circumstance information from the information providing server 20, and for displaying it.
