WATERPROOFING STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing structure of a motor, which can maintain sealability of a through-hole formed in a casing with high reliability and can improve waterproofness.

SOLUTION: A motor body 12 formed of a rotor 19 and the like is stored in a motor cover 11 made of aluminum alloy. A ventilation member 40 made of synthetic resin is installed in the through-hole 30 formed in the motor cover 11. A gap between the through-hole 30 and the ventilation member 40 is blocked by an O ring 50. A groove part 60 extending in a circumferential direction is formed at a periphery of the through-hole 30. A resin ring 70 formed by hardening a gel-like gasket G is engaged into the groove part 60.
