PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming system with which time necessary for printing can be reduced to be more shorter than ever. SOLUTION: The reduction of the required printing time is performed by the partition of an image (object) and the assignment of a proper CPU based on relevant information (group information) and vacant CPU's to partition objects for producing intermediate data. At the step S301, the interpretive processing of received PDL data is performed. At the step S302, the determination whether the command includes the group information or not is performed. At the step S303, CPU's, the processing in each of which is vacant, are searched so as to decide which CPU is to be assigned to every processing of partition objects based on the group information and the information of the partition objects. At the step S304, the CPU's the processing in each of which is vacant, is searched so as to assign the processing of an object. At the step S305, the CPU, to which processing is assigned at the step S303 or S304, converts data received from a PC to intermediate data suitable for processing by a printing equipment. At the step S307, image producing processing based on the intermediate data produced at the step S306 is performed in every processing unit in parallel by a plurality of CPU's.
