METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ORGANIC PIGMENT, ORGANIC PIGMENT, AND COLOR PIGMENT COMPOSITION USING IT

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic pigment having pigment particles of an even size, a method of manufacturing it and a color pigment composition containing the organic pigment to solve the problem that a pigment having pigment particles of an uneven size causes insufficient luster of a coloring agent containing the pigment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the organic pigment by mixing a semicrude organic pigment and an organic solvent gas under stirring under reduced pressure can provide pigment particles of a more even size than conventional methods. The coloring agent containing the obtained organic pigment is excellent in luster and coloring ability. The method of manufacturing an organic pigment preferably operated under reduced pressure of 0.13 to 80 kPa, the organic pigment manufactured by the method and the coloring agent containing the organic pigment are provided.
