PURPOSE: A withstanding apparatus for supporting earth pressure and a construction method thereof are provided to have a structure for being easily installed on a maintenance section of water supply and drainage and have a stable support structure for high earth pressure. CONSTITUTION: A withstanding apparatus for supporting earth pressure comprises a plurality of H-shaped posts(100), an earth pressure support(200), and a pipe support. The H-shaped post is embedded to be faced to an excavated space for the construction and the maintenance of the water supply and drainage. The earth pressure support is fixed on the H-shaped pillar. The pipe support is installed between the earth pressure supports which are faced.
