<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device decreasing a reduction in transmittance induced by a translucent filler to increase the outgoing efficiency of light radiated from a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a case 1 having an irradiation opening 5, a substrate 3 which is contained in the case 1 and on which the light emitting element 2 is mounted, and the translucent filler 10 filled to cover both of a light emitting element 2 mounted surface of the substrate 3 and the mounted light emitting element and formed with a recessed part 11 in its surface opposed to the light emitting element 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
