PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen the management of important documents, such as confidential documents, particularly by attaching specific information to print data to identify who performs printing and leave trails on printed matter.

SOLUTION: A print system embeds particular signature information as an attribute in a document (S110), so that a printer driver and a print server identify the information (S106) (S118) to describe on an output form and database as trace information who outputs it.
