<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sticking reduction method by which an image sticking phenomenon of a display is reduced, while performing display without a sense of incongruity in viewing. <P>SOLUTION: The video display for reducing the image sticking phenomenon by performing display by shifting a video display position, includes: an input means for inputting a video signal; a display means for displaying a video; a detecting means for detecting a distance between the display means and a viewer and outputting it as distance information; and a display control means which determines a shift amount of the video display position based on the distance information, and which shifts the display position by the determined shift amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
