PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the inner size of a test object, capable of accurately measuring the size of a measurement object, even if the measurement object inside the test object is large. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the inner size, includes an inserting step of inserting a gauge 30 with its length, from one end part 30a to the other end part 30b which is measured, in advance, to a measurement object S2 inside a test object S; a gauge position adjusting step of adjusting the orientation of the gauge 30, along the direction of measuring the measurement object S2 with one end part 30a of the gauge 30, contacting one-end part S2b of the measurement object S2, and a distance measuring step of measuring the distance from the other-end part 30b of the gauge 30 to the other-end part S2a of the measurement object S2 through stereoscopic measurement, with an endoscope 2A inserted inside the test object S.
