The exchanger i.e. evaporator (1) has an evaporator block including air inlet and outlet sides, an upper collector (2) including a base plate, a distributing plate (13) and an injection plate with which an injection pipe (3) and an outlet pipe (4) are connected. Injection or inlet and outlet openings (6, 9) are arranged in the injection plate and the injection and outlet pipes. Two adjacent meandering flow paths (10, 11) that are formed by the pipes are assigned to the openings, such that the injection takes place parallely in the flow paths. A lower collector is provided according to the type of the upper collector.
