PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately evaluate a change in a performance due to an effect of a densification and a thickness reduction of a coating layer in a heat shielding performance evaluation of the coating layer. SOLUTION: The heat shielding performance evaluation includes: step (S1-1) for reading data of a three-dimensional model for a numerical analysis of a to-be-evaluated component; step (S1-2) for setting a thermophysical property value of the to-be-evaluated component; step (S1-3) for setting a heating condition; step (S1-4) for setting a thermal resistance value; step (S1-5) for performing the numerical analysis, and calculating a model temperature; step (S1-6) for creating an analytical curve from the thermal resistance value and the model temperature; step (S2-1) for reading data of a detected temperature when the to-be-evaluated component is actually heated; step (S2-2) for calculating the thermal resistance value from the analytical curve and the detected temperature; and step (S2-3) for evaluating the heat shielding property of the to-be-evaluated component based on the calculated thermal resistance value.
