<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, relating to a printer driver comprising a filter which employs a reach type interface, the insertion of a preview filter that displays XPS data acquired using a stream type interface causes a conversion process for a data format between filters, thus causing deterioration in performance even if a preview is not performed. <P>SOLUTION: Relating to a filter for a preview which uses a reach type interface, print data are converted from a reach type to a stream type only when preview setting is turned on to generate a preview document. By displaying the preview document, a print preview is obtained, and thereby deterioration in performance caused by the addition of a preview filter is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
