<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric sensor capable of sensing an object to be sensed with high sensitivity even using, for example, a low frequency of 9 MHz, which is disadvantageous for sensing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric sensor is formed by roughening the surface of excitation electrodes 12a formed on a quartz piece 11, for example, by a grinding processing or a blast processing with abrasive particles using grinding particles which are at least 10 times larger than one molecule of an antigen to be sensed, and attaching an antibody that captures the antigen to the excitation electrodes 12a.
